The Calvary Chapel church has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our supreme desire is to know Christ and to be conformed into His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only their over-emphasis of the doctrinal differences that have led to the division in the Body of Christ.

Today, the Calvary Chapel movement has grown to several hundred churches worldwide. This international outreach ranges from church planting in all areas of the globe (even in former Communist countries) to train indigenous pastors in their own country. While each local church is completely autonomous in its own right, each one is bound together by a deep love of the Lord, His Word, and a desire to see His gospel "... preached unto all nations.." Matthew 24:14b

Calvary Chapel Livermore is affiliated with the Calvary Chapel Organization and it's philosophy of ministry through the Calvary Chapel Outreach Fellowships (CCOF).
